Self Hypnosis Workshop

 April 19, 2026

1-4 pm

Learn Self-Hypnosis

A Practical Skill You Can Use for Life

No-fluff self-hypnosis techniques to release old habits, calm the mental chaos, and install new ways of being—guided step by step.

This workshop is taught by a university-level hypnosis instructor who also teaches for the National Guild of Hypnotists. Learn how to safely and effectively guide yourself into hypnosis using the same principles I teach at the university level — in a relaxed, practical, and engaging environment.

Outcome Promise:

By the end of this 3-hour interactive workshop, you will:

  •   Understand what hypnosis actually is (and isn't).

  •   Be able to guide yourself into self-hypnosis.

  •   Leave with a structured practice guide for home use.

Self-hypnosis is a deliberate, guided way of entering a focused, relaxed state of mind—similar to meditation—where you maintain awareness but access deeper layers of your subconscious. In this state, your mind becomes highly receptive to suggestions, patterns, and insights

Self-hypnosis is intentional influence over your own mind. Not floating. Not disappearing. Not surrendering your will to incense smoke and vibes. You are fully aware. Fully present. You just go deeper — to the layer where reactions are born before you pretend they’re “just how you are.

Self Hypnosis allows you to:

  • Calm the nervous system instead of negotiating with it.

  • Catch limiting beliefs before they hijack your behavior.

  • Install new responses on purpose instead of hoping they stick.

  • Access clarity without outsourcing your authority.

It’s the state where the automatic becomes adjustable.

In self-hypnosis, your mind isn’t passive — it’s receptive. Which means the patterns that usually run unchecked can finally be addressed directly.

You are in control the entire time. No one overrides you. No one implants anything. You’re not handing over the wheel — you’re holding it steady.

It’s not mystical.

It’s not dramatic.

It’s you accessing the level of mind where patterns live — and choosing, deliberately, what continues and what ends.

Self-hypnosis is the moment you realize your reactions aren’t random — they’re rehearsed. Learned. Repeated. Reinforced. And if they were learned, they can be unlearned. It isn’t mystical. It isn’t dramatic. It’s you stepping into the layer of mind where habits are formed and deciding they don’t get to decide for you anymore.

Q + A

Q: What is self-hypnosis?
Self-hypnosis is a focused, relaxed state of awareness that allows you to access and influence subconscious patterns intentionally. You remain aware and in control at all times.

Q: Will I lose control?
No. You cannot be made to do, say, or believe anything against your will. Self-hypnosis is cooperative and self-directed.

Q: Is this the same as stage hypnosis?
No. Stage hypnosis is entertainment. This workshop teaches practical mental skills for self-regulation, habit change, and internal clarity.

Q: What will I learn?
You will learn how to enter self-hypnosis safely, deliver effective suggestions to yourself, interrupt unwanted patterns, and reinforce new behaviors or beliefs.

Q: Do I need experience?
No prior experience is required. If you can follow guided instructions, you can participate successfully.

Q: Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational and experiential workshop. It does not replace medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.

Q: What can self-hypnosis help with?
Common applications include stress reduction, confidence building, habit change, focus improvement, and emotional regulation.

Q: Will everyone experience it the same way?
No. Some people experience vivid imagery. Others notice subtle shifts in thought or sensation. Both are valid.

Q: What do I need to participate?
A quiet, private space where you will not be disturbed, stable internet, and the ability to sit or lie down comfortably.

Q: Will there be a replay?
No. This is a live session only.

Q: How is this different from meditation?
Meditation often focuses on observing thoughts without engaging them. Self-hypnosis involves actively guiding your focus and delivering intentional suggestions to influence behavior, beliefs, or emotional responses.

Q: Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
No. Hypnosis is a natural mental state. If guidance stopped, you would either return to full alertness on your own or drift into ordinary relaxation.

Q: How quickly does it work?
Some people notice shifts immediately. Others experience gradual change with repetition. Like any skill, effectiveness improves with practice.

Q: Do I need to be highly suggestible?
No. Hypnosis is a learned skill. Most people can enter a hypnotic state with proper guidance and willingness.

Q: What if I “don’t see anything” or don’t visualize well?
Visualization is not required. Hypnosis can involve thoughts, sensations, emotions, or simple internal focus. There is no single “correct” experience.

Q: Who should not attend?
Individuals in acute crisis, experiencing unmanaged severe psychiatric conditions, or requiring clinical treatment should seek appropriate professional support instead.

Q: How often should I practice self-hypnosis?
Regular practice increases effectiveness. Many people benefit from short daily sessions.

Q: Can I practice this on my own afterward?
Yes. The goal of the workshop is to teach you how to apply self-hypnosis independently.

Self-hypnosis isn’t escaping your mind

—it’s finally letting it follow your orders.

The power is within you.

This isn’t your average ‘surface-level reset.’ We dive deep—past the noise, past the blocks, past the ordinary—to clear what’s holding you back, heal what you didn’t even know needed healing, and plug you straight into your own power.
